Five perspectives.
One deliberate structure.

A company can be described in many ways. Pinkve chose five perspectives that together create a structured way to understand what shapes a company, what it is, what guides it, what it pursues and what it achieves.

The order is intentional. Each perspective adds something different to the one before it.

What shapes the company.

Philosophy gives a company a place to express the fundamental ideas, beliefs, approaches or ways of working that shape it.

It comes first because understanding a company can begin with what informs the way it operates, not only with what it does.

What the company is.

About establishes the company in its own context: who it is, what it does and what is relevant to understanding it.

It provides the central reference point between what shapes the company and everything that follows.

What guides its actions.

Principles make explicit the fundamental rules or convictions a company chooses to stand by.

The section is limited to a maximum of three Principles by design. The intention is not to collect statements, but to identify what is considered fundamental.

What the company is pursuing.

Development introduces movement into the Protocol. It gives a defined place to what a company is actively working towards.

A maximum of two active Manifests keeps current direction deliberate rather than turning the Protocol into an open list of intentions.

Updates allow that direction to be recorded as it develops.

What has become real.

Achievements record developments that have been completed and results a company chooses to make part of its record.

An Achievement is the completed state of a Manifest. Its original development, Updates and sources remain connected as one record.

From what shapes it
to what it achieves.

The five perspectives are designed to describe different states of understanding rather than repeat the same information in different forms.

Philosophy establishes what shapes the company. About establishes what it is. Principles make its fundamental guidance explicit. Development records what it is pursuing. Achievements record what that development has produced.

Five perspectives.
One defined line.

The structure is defined.
The content is yours.

Pinkve defines the perspectives, their order and the rules that shape them. The company determines what each perspective means and what it chooses to make available.

The result is not a fixed description of a company, but a defined structure through which different companies can express themselves in their own way.
